Hello, I've looked in the usual places to find out the service pack #--we're on Modular Messaging V3.0 It says (7.0.529.8) after V3.0 when I go to Start, Programs, Avaya MM, About Avaya MM. I know that's not service pack 7 because SP6 is 7.0.660.0 and SP7 is 7.0.686.0 on support.avaya.com. I looked in Add/Remove programs and no Avaya service packs are mentioned. I also searched 7.0.529.8 on support.avaya.com and got no results. It returned results for 7.0.660.0 but not 7.0.686.0. Go figure. The only conclusion I can draw is that there is no service pack at all, unless someone knows? Anyway, I'm looking at that because the MM Tracing Server service won't remain started so I can configure it.

looks like the base rel to me the 660.0 is the client not the MM.

I'd guess you have MM 3.0 SP1 installed (MAS 7.0.529.1) with patch MM300103 or MM300104 installed.

Why? Because MM300102 is 7.0.529.5 and MM300109 brings you up to 7.0.529.26 and contains MM300102 through MM300108.

According to the summary of MM300109, "At times, the Tracing Server service fails to start." which tells me this patch may solve your problem.

Hope that helps.

You would think so but i looked at all of the patches and service packs and did not see that number anywhere. It just seems odd but nothing from Avaya should i guess
