Hi Everyone.

On a windows nt workstation or server (version 4.0) how would I be able to know what service pack is installed without rebooting the system?

Is there any way

Thanks all

Try
Start->Programs->Administrative Tools (Common)->Windows NT Diagnostics

Should be right there.

Cheers
Patrick

Here's another way. Double click My Computer, Help and go to About Windows....

These methods will not distinguish between SP6 & SP6a. Run winver from a command line to find out which you've got.
