Hello,

We have numerous people here that will use the same phone device depending on their work schedule. Most DN's are only associated with a Device Profile. Is there a way to tell the MAC address of the phone set that someone has logged into using their Device Profile?

Thank you.

Yes in the phones page search for the DN of the device profile you are interested in. If the dp is logged in, it will pull up the actual phone and you can get the Mac.

I do a search within "Phones" and the device profile is not showing for them.

Most of these users do not have a physical phone associated with them considering they move around a lot and use extension mobility.

Thank you.

Unless they are logged in you won't find them in phones. DP don't have macs.
What are you trying to do?

Someone would have to be logged in to do this and you would need to know the phone number:

Click Device / phone
In the related links drop down towards the top right of the page, select Actively logged in device report, then press go

In the following page, click on the first drop down and select Directory Number / Begins with / (enter phone number as it appears on the phone)

Press find.

This will show you the logged in device / profile / user ID / Directory Number / and Partition

Click on the Logged in device and it will show you the phone info (not the profile)

Hope this helps

Excellent. Worked perfectly. Thank you very much.
