how to find hardware errors like in AIX errpt

Im new to tru64 and have a question. In AIX I can run errpt and get a report of system errors like hardware problems etc... How do I do that in tur64? I have what looks like tape drive problems but I don't know how to see if it reported errors. Thanks for any help.

I am unfamiliar with AIX. But do try man uerf. One of the most useful qualifiers is -R (for reverse chronological order).

I think uerf has been replaced with dia in more recent versions (I think it has the same set of flags though) Theres also /var/adm/syslog.dated, and /var/adm/messages
