Greetings,

I am not too familair with loops, dn's tn's and what not. I have a unit that has become disabled by the midnight routine and I need to enable it. Problem is I do not know the TN.

What overlay do I need to go to run a report to find my disabled TN's or is there an easier way to find the TN? Again I not not to familair with loops, cards, slots so please reply as if I am not familiar with the output of a prt. I have an option11.

Once I find the TN reading other posts it would need to goto LD32 and enlu tn#? Or can I just re-run the midnight routine manually to rescan all sets that would re-enable them?

I would also like to stop this paticular TN from getting checked. I read elsewhere I can use fxla but the commands where not clear on how to do so.

Thanks in advance.
Jason

You can find the TN if you know the DN

In LD 20
REQ: PRT
TYPE: DNB
CUST 0
DN XXXX <--enter in the DN of the disabled set

Once you have the TN, then
REQ: ENLU XX XX XX XX <-- enter in the TN

Then,

REQ: STAT XX XX XX XX

It should come up as IDLE

go to
ld 32
.ldis 0 (show you TN´s for cabinet 0)
.ldis 1 (show you TN´s for cabinet 1)
.ldis 2 (show you TN´s for cabinet 2)

.enls 0 (enable TN´s for cabinet 0)
.enls 1 (enable TN´s for cabinet 1)
.enls 2 (enable TN´s for cabinet 2)

In TN change the class of service to flxs

ld 20
req chg
type 500, 2616, 3902 (depend of telephone model)
tn
echg yes
item cls flxa

Javier,

Thankyou, issuing enls 1 (enable module) re-activated that phone. However on my other cabinets (modules?) there were also multiple other disabled units. ldis (list disabled loops)checks each cabinet (module) and reports the disabled units it looks like. If I knew the specific tn could I issue enlu tn to only re-activate that one unit? My question is what should the data for lscu be? It sounds like for an option11c each cabinet is called a "module" but for other units they are called shelfs?

I understand the DN (directory number) is an arbitrary 4 digit number assigned to the TN (terminal number). Manual referrs to l s c u (loop, shelf, card, unit). I am lost on what a loop and shelf (module) is in Meridian land. Is there a way to print all my DN's so I can see what each DN's TN is?

Don't worry I will be taking a class on this overlay bs at some point :)

for small systems TN (card unit)

short cut, if more then 1 set is disu on a card, just enlc 4, for an 11 of enlc 4 0 1 for a larger system. that was not allowed without taking the card down for a long time. another short cut is two go to 117 and inv generate sets enter, then when it's finished do a inv prt sets...that shows all disu digital sets in all cab's
