Hi,
I’m new to Macola and need some help. I am trying to figure out how to see the cash I put in. I went to cash flow, then entries, cash flow, then new. The only thing I did differently from entering a check was to click on cash where I would normally click on check book. That part went fine. But then I went to cash flow, check status. It doesn’t show there is anything. Is there a different report for cash?
Thank you,
Dona

Go back to the Cashflow entry screen and check both boxes marked 'All'. Then if you click the 'Refresh' button at the bottom of the screen you should be able to find your entry.

Once you find your entry, double-click it to edit it. Depending on what release you are on, you can print a deposit ticket right from the entry/maintenance screen, using the 'Deposit Ticket' button at the bottom of the screen.

Thank you. I did what you said and I can find the enties that I made for the deposit, but that's as far as I can get. If I click on them individually and go into edit all I get is the entry for the one line item. I do not see anything that says deposit slip. Maybe a different version. We have Macoloa ES release 360, if that helps. Any other idea? Thank you again for the help. Dona

I just did a couple of CashFlow entries to test (using 360.323) and what you're seeing is correct. The deposit ticket button is not available on cash entries and the Check Status report only includes checks, not cash. You would have to edit your entry and change it to a check if you want to include it on the Check Status report. Your only other option would be a Crystal report on the banktransactions table.

One other thing you might try. Use the Select/Search function to list the transactions for that date, then use the Print button at the bottom of the screen. This function will produce a transaction list regardless of the type of transaction so your cash should show (unless you excluded it in the report criteria).

Thank you so much!!! Using the search worked. Thank you again. Dona
