Hi All

I have a 2WIRE Intelligent Gateway router which was configured by some net engineer then we decided to not use this router now we dont know what IP address this engineer has configured the router to?

we tryed all of the default IPs suggested by British Telecom like:

172.16.0.1

192.168.0.1

10.0.0.1

but no chance,

now some of you may wonder why not just reset the router well believe it or not the company who made these routers have not included a reset button on these routers hence they have been replaced by another version.

any ideas on how to break in to this router???

I would run the tracert command on an external site from inside, and just see what IP it hits on the way out

Hi HeWhoRoames

The router is not connected to the network it was configured then the 2nd day disconnected and left aside so I wouldnt be able to do that
