How to Find all Instance OF SQL Server on a Server

How is it possible to find all the Instance (7.0 & 2000) of SQL Server on a Machine.

I want to build a build a wizard, that will take the machine name alone and get the list of SQL Server Instances on it.

Helpful tips will be highly appreciated.
