How to filter out messages by subject or attachment

I'm looking for some advice on how to filter out messages that have pre-defined subject lines and or attachment names based on known viruses. Unfortunately, we have been taking a reactive approach at our site, running a program that removes emails according to subject/attachment after we get hit by a virus. We are using Exchange 5.5. Is there a way in Exchange to enter in a subject line or attachment name of a virus so that Exchange will screen these messages out? If not, does anyone have any other ideas?
