I hope this is simple. I need to draw shape like folowing in different colors

It is hard to draw same size oval each time. Is it possible I make one oval, and then just change the colors inside.

Thanks

One of the easiest and best ways to do this, avoiding losing the original is via layers. Go to Window menu/layers.

Draw the thing on one layer. Go to layer window and Duplicate layer. Make sure you're working in the new layer, change the color (just selct eh color via magic wand and change), move, etc.

When you're done, you can either merge layers, hide or discard layres. merge just visible layers, etc.

thanks, i followed the step you mentioned. I have the new color in the tool set that i want to have in the duplicated layer. Then I click in magic
wand , and then I click on the copy of layer, it select the oval shape, but then what do i do to changed the color?

A better way would be to use the elipise path tool, then duplicate that layer, then in the layers palete you will see the color swatch, double click it and then the color chooser palete will open and you can change the color that way.

i followed the steps that you mentioned. After making the duplicated layers , when I double click on the color swatch and pick a colr, I see color changes on the left hand tool set, but then how do i fill that color in the oval on my duplcate layer?

thanks

I would use the pen tool to make a work path, make the path a selection, save the selection, load it each time you need it on a layer and fill the selection on the appropriate layer. Or select each layer with the selection and make it a spot channel.
