How to fade text in and out...

Hey could someone kindly help me on fading objects in and out using Flash 5.0???I've been tryin' to figure it out b/c our band is working on a website and I figured it'd be tight if we had a pretty decent-looking flash intro...I'd need details and they'd be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!!

Hi Regular Psychosis,

or should I not be reading it backwards?

If you will look in the Flash help files there is a ton of info on this complete with instructions and examples I believe. the Flash tutorial alsio covers this. It is very simple and you could probably pick it up the first time you go through the steps.

aright thanks! I look in help and it just gives me a whole crap load of motion tweening and shape tweening but I don't understand how to fade text from white to a color to another color to white...ya know? I think you helped some but if there's anything else you know, please hepp me out! =) Thanks again...
