How to extract url from file

does anyone know some reliable way extract Url from swf file, use php script to parse page?

Now you want to parse an SWF file ( Flash animation ) or a page ( HTML document ) ?

I meant parse SWF file, I think URL can be inside it.
I want save online TV movie to hard drive to watch offline. Tried find URL via Firefox Tools > Page info > Media, but there is only small 28KB swf file, player_tv1.swf

Got it. I would try Flash Video Resources Downloader first.

If you want to write it yourself, I suggest to start with Adobe's SWF searchability FAQ. ( I never read it personally, but the Google guys read it for their Flash indexing functionality. )

So, do you think that platforms like youtube issue a .SWF file to the browser that the shockwave playey loads and in side that file there is a real URL to the medai file (probabbly a .flv file)?
I've downloaded the firefox plugin but it's binary. I'll see if it's possible to de-compile it and see what logic it does.

However there is not much to do with that. It sends a request to

to extract the URLs.

don't know if we should be discussing this here !
