I run an Access 2000 database on a large NT file structure overnight.

This collects filenames and path data so I can track .avi's, MPG's and large duplicate files.

No problem so far ~ works a treat.

Does anybody know how I could extract the file owners name which would help in tracking down the bandits?

The data I want can be seen at [windows explorer][properties][security][advanced][owner][current owner of this item] but I have no idea how to electronically extract it.

Thanks Paul

Just a simple code snippet then [dazed]
I've printed it and will take it to the pub and see if a couple of pints makes it clearer. Thanks for the pointer.
