How to extract data from pdf?

Is there away to extract data from pdf and store it into a database?
 
Have you had any feedback on this question? I have the same goal, but the data is not tabular.
 
What do you consider, within a PDF document, to be "data"?

If you're referring specifically to a PDF Form, then the answer is "yes". Simply post the form to a web app that can handle standard HTTP Posts.

Otherwise, the answer is "maybe". Give more detail!

what kind of data? just normal text or form,if you like you can give me sample,drop mail to:touchpdf@yahoo.com

if normal text like some invoice ,I can extract it and insert it to datatable ,of course Form is some easier.
