How to Export to XL

Hi..This may be very basic question..can someone pls help me with this.
we generated a simple crystal report in html version. Now i want to provide a link on the result page, when user clicks the link, he should get the output in the excel format. Pls note that we DO NOT want to store this excel file on server machine, CR should stream the results to excel and display in a new window on the fly.

we are using CR XI, visual studio .Net for windows 2003, VB.NET for code behind. appreciate any help.

How are the users viewing the report, from Crystal Server, or an application, or?

There should be a lightning bolt icon they can use from the viewer to export the report to various formats.

It is a web based report..we use ASP.NET as front end where user selects various set of criteria, we will pass the selected parameters to crystal and display the report. For this we use Crystal report viewer component of visual studio. So "export to excel" is just a link we are providing in the report output, so on click of this user should get the same results in excel format.

also one important thing to note is we DO NOT want to store this xl physically on server, it will be good if we can just streamline this results directly to xl. If we can do this without executing the query one more time, that will be really great. Hope this is clear.
