Hi, I've got about 15 files with each around 200 text boxes. And I need to export the text from each file into a Word file. Is there an easy way to export the text (at once) instead of copying and pasting box by box?

If you have Acrobat - full, it's not too bad.

Export the ID doc to PDF and open in Acrobat.

Select Save As and, depending on your version of Acrobat, select Word document. You will lose a lot of the formatting. The boxes will become paragraphs. As an alternate, you can save the Acrobat doc as RTF.

I've found that saving, from Acrobat, as HTML 3.2 and then opening that in Word, holds formatting better. You still will lose a lot of formatting.

If you do such a conversion, you have to be careful of fonts - as recipients of the Word docs probably don't have the fonts that an ID machine would have. When I have to share such, I almost always use truetype Times New Roman or truetype Ariel.
