On AutoCad 2005 with Windows XP.
I did it once awhile back but since have forgotten the procedure. I want to export part of a drawing and save as .psd so it can be edited in Photoshop 7.0
How did I do it?
Dan

Hi Dan,

You'll probably need to export it as a jpg using the plot command, using Publish to WEB as jpg.pc3, and then open it with photoshop from there.

Thanks Todd, but as I remember I was able to export or save as a .psd document. I was also able to select a portion of the drawing to export.

Hi Dan,

Unless you had special drivers installed as part of PhotoShop's functionality, or a third party software add-on for AutoCAD, I'm not sure how you accomplished this. Did you by any chance perform a DXFOUT?
