We're building another SNA Server and we want to bring over all the LUs from the old machine. Is there a way to export from the old one and import it into the new one?

Thanks in advance.

Yes this is easy. Build the new SNA server as a backup server in the same SNA domain. Add you link service on the new server. Now you can drag and drop the connection (PU) with all the (LUs) from the SNA Server Service on the production server to and drop it onto the SNA Server Service on the new server. Restart the service on the production server. On the new server associate the moved PU to the appropriate link service on the new server and save config. Now start the SNA service on the new server. The moved PU and LU(s) will all go active. No need to redefine users or workstations. Print sessions on the other hand will need to be defined to appropriate print queues on the new server and taken off the production server. Hope this helps.
