Hello

I am struggling to export my report with images to word. I have exported to snapshot viewer which is fine, but isnt going to work multi platforms like UNIX or Mac. So I want to export into word. When I export as RTF it keeps the layout in tact, which is fine. But its not including the images.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

How about printing to a pdf format file? There are free pdf printers available.

This problem has plauged me for eons also, and the only solution I can offer is print it to a pdf, and mail that.

If you search, you can find some suggestions on how to automate the pdf process. Its extremely annoying, but you can do it.

BLORF you are a GENIUS. Thankyou so much. HA HAHAHA. Yes, i dont believe it. You have solved the problem of the decade. The reason probably most people dont use access to generate reports, because of its clunkyness, and limited file format support. But Acrobat Distiller is king. I have never used it before. I didnt realise. Its a clever program indeed. I would never have comprehended this, had you not posted this. thankyou very much. You have saved me much time messing around. I owe you one.

Hey, I'm also trying to export Access reports to Word but your 'work around' isn't an option as the recipitants of the file won't necesarily have Acrobat installed. Surely there must be a way of exporting images with Access?

Stephen Lebans might have some solutions for you at

No, they need to be able to manipulate the data so Adobe is no use. I looked at the Lebans site but the method to get access to export images was way too complicated

Complicated specs require complicated solutions.
