In SharePoint I see there's an option to add an expiration date when you upload an Announcement in a SharePoint site, but I don't see this option when I upload a Document to a Document Library. Is it possible to add an expiration date to a Document in a Document Library?
I want to create a Word template that's unique to a particular Document Library -- which is something else I need to figure out how to do -- so users can type their info into the template and save it in the Document Library. I need them to add an expiration date to the document so that it will automatically remove itself from the Document Library on a given date.
Anyone have suggestions on how to do this? I'm still green to SharePoint, so please be gentle in your response. Thanks!
