how to execute a .vbs file !

Hi,
If I have some vbScript code written in notepad and if I saved it as xyz.vbs, how can I execute it?

double click it with the mouse. . . or call it with another program . . . like a .bat file.

Thanks..which is the program executing it! is there is VBScript Engine shipped with windows?
