How to enable the Web Interface on 3300XM & 3300MM?

How would I go about enabling the web interface on a 3com 3300XM & 3300MM which are connected via a matrix cable?

Ensure port 1 is connected to the VLAN you are trying to web manage from. The IP managemant address of the switches and the default gateway must be correct, it should work out of the box.

If you can telnet the switches you should be able to web manage them.

Also ensure the browser settings are correct especially the proxy server exceptions if these exclude a web connection to an IP address it will not work at all.
