How to enable the Group Sort Expert ?

Hi,
I am new to Crystal.I am using Crystal XI and DB2 database.
Need a Top N result for a summarized report.

Following is the report.

using 2 groups: 1. Agent name 2. PoNo.
And the counts for each PoNo is a running total (count).
------------------------------------------
Agent1 (Group1)
PoNo Count1
10 (Group2) 14 (Running total - count for PoNo 10)
20 24
30 10
40 22
50 44
60 21
70 11
Agent2
....

We need the Top 3 count information in the report for each Agent.
I tried to use the Group Sort Expert,but the button is DISABLED. Please let me know what exactly i need to do? Is it possible to use the TopN feature in my report? do you need more information please let me know.

You can't sort on running totals. If you right click on your detail field and insert a count, do you get the correct value? An inserted count would be available for a topN sort.

If not, how is the running total set up?

Thanks for the information.
Type of summary for the running total is COUNT and reset the total after the Group2(PoNo) changes.
Is that possible to use the Top N in a 3 formula method?

No. Did you try simply inserting a count on the field at the group #2 level? If the running total works accurately when you have select the field, choose count, evaluate for every record, reset on change of group #2, you should be able to just insert a count. If you need to show a running total, you can keep that in place, but you need to insert a count (and suppress it if necessary), just so you can use the topN.
