How to enable SMBV1? PLS HELP!

Greetings,

I have a sbs2008 that runs a proprietary application to all my win7 and XP clients. I have noticed when the application is lunched from win7 3-5 times a day it stops working. When using Win XP everything works just fine. I was able to get with my application support group and they have recommented me to force the use SMBv1 for file sharing on my server. How can i do that? Is this a registry fix?

Even though it's for Vista\SVR2008, it should still apply to Win7.
