Hi there,

A new business need has surfaced which requires any calls which come into our Cisco system and then are forwarded/transferred from our Cisco system to a CS1K phone that the payload path must be replaced so it does not remain anywhere through Cisco. Here's a crude diagram:

|PSTN|----PRI----|CS1K|----QSIG----|Cisco CM|

We have QSIG trunks between CS1K and Cisco. I tried enabling TAT on the DCH RCAP, but I receive the following SCH:
TAT is allowed for only D100 / SL-1 / S100 / D250 and Release 21 or higher for SL-1. Check the IFC and RLS prompts. Severity: Info The IFC was set to ISIG.

Here is one of the DCH configs:
ADAN DCH 23
CTYP MSDL
DNUM 15
PORT 1
DES CISCOQSIG
USR PRI
DCHL 5
OTBF 32
PARM RS422 DTE
DRAT 64KC
CLOK EXT
IFC ISGF
PINX_CUST 0
ISDN_MCNT 300
CLID OPT0
CO_TYPE STD
SIDE NET
CNEG 1
RLS ID **
RCAP COLP NDI CCBI CCNI PRI DV3I CTI QMWI
PR_TRIGS DIV 2 3
CNG 2 3
PR_RTN NO
MBGA NO
OVLR NO
OVLS NO
T310 120
T200 3
T203 10
N200 3
N201 260
K 7

Is there a way to set this up without impacting MWI or CLID over the QSIG trunks? Searching the forum I've found posts alluding to QSIG supplemental services, I don't know where to begin with that. Programming this 'deep' isn't my forte but I'm getting there.

TIA,
Mike

TRMB is set to YES. Is it as simple as setting this to NO? Based on the description in the NTP it doesn't sound like it would have the desired effect:

TRMB NO
Tromboning denied. Incoming trunk call on route may not be allowed directly back out on the same route. Only applies to calls routed using NARS/BARS or CDP. Does not apply to calls redirected by HUNT, Forward All Calls, or Forward No Answer.

Or does denying tromboning invoke a path replacement?

I'll be trying it this weekend and posting my results. Fingers crossed!

Unfortunately the call still trombones and takes up 2 channels on the QSIG path for the duration of the call despite TRMB being set to NO.

Any other ideas?
