I'm new to Mailbox Manager, and I don't see my requested changes updated in the subscriber database. I see that there needs to be some settings made to Auto Configure. Does someone have a checklist that will assist me in setting up Mbox Mgr to auto-update after sending changes?

thank you!

If you are using mailbox manager and it is updating the data base on the MSS then it must be updating the sub data in the mailbox manager profile Or are you saying that the changes are not getting to the MSS ?.

Thanks for the response, Ken. I mean to say that when opening Mbox Mgr after using that same tool to make several subscriber changes, we don't see those changes reflected in Mbox Mgr. I'm guessing that there is something we need to enable in Mbox Mgr to have it 'auto-refresh' for us.

Do the subscriber changes take affect in the MM system? Are you doing a send now on the changes ?

Yes, as a test, we did SEND NOW, but we are also scheduling changes.

Adminman3,
What version of Modular Messaging do you have? Mailbox Manager has a specific version for each MM system up to release 5.0. MM 5.1 and 5.2 don't work with Mailbox Manager. What version of MBM and MM are you working with?

For Auto-updates, the Mailbox Manager must be open to run at the specific time configured. If running on the MAS, then this software must be active. It will not launch on its own.

The Events icon should show if the auto-configure worked. Refreshing the Subscriber view should show the changes. Are you using the Save or the Send Now button? If Saving to a Project the Project Icon will show the changes made or failure.

Hope this helps.

sorry about the late get-back. I will pass your suggestion on to my tech friend who is laboring with this issue. Thanks for the time!
