How to enable auto power shut off when shutting down

I have reinstalled the Windows 98se and the PC doesn't auto power off after shutting down the windows 98. Pls help.
Thank you.

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Power Management->Advanced Tab "When I press the Power Button on my computer" Choose: Shutdown from the dropdown menu.
