how to eliminate white spaces in URL

Greetings Apeacheans

I'm using Apache as the web server to render out images on the front end from Vignette Content Management system.

I would like to know wheather apache has a work around to replace white spaces in the url.

I've a folder hierarchy products & services/Artistry & Personal care

in my http conf file under bin directory i 've set up aliases which maps the folder structure.

Is they a work around to get rid of white spaces .The white spaces are repalced by %20 which distorts the Project path.

the url with white spaces are

http://localhost:9080/a2kWeb/Australia & NZ/Products & Services/Artistry/Images/VS4566.jpg'

HOW DO I CONFIGUREAPCHE SO THAT %20 ARE ELIMINATED

Try using quotes around the paths that contain spaces.

Hi!

Just a stupid workaround: Do you really NEED spaces in those pathnames? What about simply rename them using underline characters and no spaces.
