How to Edit Property Values in a data window

I have been looking all around and can't find out how to do the following.

I created a data window and added it to a tab control. The data window retrieves values and populates the data window with several fields.

I want to then be able to edit a date field during run time, where the user can just type in data and it gets updated directly to the table. Does anyone know what steps I need to follow or how to do this???

Never mind, i figured it out.

It has to do with turning the tab order on and setting it up properly
