Hi All, In grid (vfp9) I can edit one row in grid ( other rows no effect) ? I try but unsucessfully. I hope every body will be helping to solve my matter. Thanks all

We are going to need more information.

Is the grid bound to a table? Are the columns set to read-only?

Griff

I'm trying to cut down on the use of shrieks (exclamation marks), I'm told they are not good for you.

Yes, I agree. Your question is unclear. You say you can edit one row. Do you mean you want to edit one row, and make all the other rows read-only? Or do you mean that want to be able to edit all the rows, but for some reason only one of this is editable? Or what?

It sounds like maybe a pessimistic row buffering issue?
I never use row buffering, always table buffering. But if I recall correctly, this might be the issue. Set table buffering to optimistic (5) and give it a try...
