How to Edit my Report and Add a Summary Band?

You can add a summary band by loading the report in the designer and clicking on the 'Report' -> 'Title/Summary' options on the menu at the top of the window, then simply check the 'Report Summary' -> 'Summary Band' option.
You will need to decide if it needs a page of it's own.

you put the numeric field there
and double click on it
click on calculations ,select option " SUM " and press ok
