i have dumped my db from my home comp, and saved it in a file, called mydb.sql...no problem.

i want to take that file and upload it to my current database on my webserver...i have created a db with the same name as the one on my home comp...

but after that, i'm lost. i don't see an 'import' link on phpmyadmin. any ideas?

When you say you have dumped your db .....

My guess is mydb.sql is a MySQL code file (have a look does it have create and insert statements)- navigate to a SQL window on phpmyadmin (SQL tab in phpmyadmin 2.5.x) and paste the code in there or point to your text file (mydb.sql).

on the insert tab, there should be a browse box to insert data from file.
