Hi,

When on the Travel setting, I often select the "Download 40kb of rich text" option, so that I don`t waste money downloading huge attachments while on the road. However sometimes after reading an email with an attachment, I would like to download the full attachment just for that email only.

How can this be done? Do I have to replicate again and choose the "Download full attachments" option? But doesn`t this download all attachments?

Any help much appreciated!
Danny

Dannydanny,

The process might be different depending on what version of notes you are on. I'm sure people have different opinions or better ways but this is how I do it.

To retrieved the whole document, highlight the message in your in-box ( don’t open the actual message ) and click on Actions, then Retrieve Entire Document.

You will get a prompt to choose eihter get docs now or on next replication, >>>> Choose “Get documents at next replication” and click ok.

Before you replicate, change the summary setting back to receive full documents, that is from the replicator page where you set notes to recieve only part of the doc.
( although you don’t have to change it back to get the whole message, but eventually you will want to )

The next time you replicate, the whole document will come through, replacing the summary
e-mail.

If there are several documents that didn’t come through, repeat the steps by going to actions, then retrieve entire document. If you need more than 1 whole document, just tell notes to retrieve those too and you can replicate them all at once.

Good luck...
