How to do line keys on iP phones

Hie to you all,

Have a 3300 using analog trunks.A client wants to have keys on his ip phone show the status of the trunks & be able to use the same keys to do individual trunk access for outgoing calls < think of it as more like
DSS Busy lamp with Ring but for trunks>.

Inbound calls on the trunks must not ring the ip phone but the console.

Does anyone know how to achieve this?

A DTS key will provide the set side functions but you cannot program a DTS key to ring a console. Catch-22

I have conneted a private line to the pabx & want it to work exclusively for 2 stations only as DTS.Have done all the necessary programming.

Have done the DTS & assigned a key on the 2 phones each that is a KeySystem- Ring type because its a Boss -Secretary scenario.
The problem that I now face is of delayed ringing of the phones when someone dials in the trunk with th DTS.
Cant get the phones to ring without a delay.Can someone assist.

How long is the delay?
If the trunks are programmed for caller ID delivery, the system will wait a few seconds to see if it's going to get it. Several seconds if no caller ID. With caller ID then the phones should ring about the time the trunk rings the second time.

COS of the trunk - turned off ANI/Dnis delivery
Had overlooked matching COS of the 2 stations in the Intercept Handling.Now okay, also changed the Delay ring timer on the COS from 10 to 5 for both stations & trunks.
