How to do invoice automatically?

I am using great plains 8.0
Now we have people type in invoice in GP to do invoicing.
Is there a way to do it automatically? Say, I have a handheld to read all shipping details in and the system can do the invoice?
Can intergration manager do it?
Same question also on receiving a purchase order.
