How to do Database archiving

Hi,

We are using Oracle 10g database.As our database is growing enormously we want to implement database archiving.
I want to know how we can do database archiving.Are there any tools which can be used to archive database?Can we use archived data to revert back if we need?
Any links which provide this information in detailed?
