Ok, ive decided i want to start from scratch, is there anyway to do a hard reset on the system? Its a partner ACS R1.1.1 C01. thanks! Also, is there a way to hard reset partner mail vs? I want to restore everything to its factory settings.
One the ACS, FEATURE 00, Left Inrercom Twice, #989-CLEAR will restart the switch from defaults. On the VS Mail, log into the system administrator's mailbox, press 9 for programming, and dial 989-clear to restart from defaults.
You might want to default the VS mail first, otherwise if you do the ACS first, you need to rebuild the VM ports into group 7 before you can log into 99 and reset.
Thanks so much! I have the vcs in the middle slot and the vs mail in the slot next to it, the only extensions that connect to the vs mail are 28 and 29. when callers call in now, there is just ringing, no answers or transfers... it did before... how do i get back to that? thanks again
Hmmm... I'm guessing that you have a 206 module in slot 1, and the VS mail is in slot 2? And the VS mail is a 2-port? That gets you to Ext. 28 and 29 for the voice mail ports.
So here is what you need to program: Put Ext. 28 and 29 in hunt group 7, set their transfer return extension to 10, assign lines to be answered by the auto attendant to call dist. group 7, and assign Auto VMS cover to extensions with mailboxes.
From Ext. 10, Press FEATURE 00, and the Left INTERCOM button TWICE:
#505-7-28-1
#505-7-29-1
#306-28-10
#306-29-10
#206-7-NN-1 (Where NN is the line number; repeat for each line to be assigned to the Auto Attendant)
#310-XX-1 (Where XX is the Extension number; repeat for each extension with voicemail.)
Thanks! that worked perfectly, the voice mail is great and the automated attendent work now, just one more question if u could, incomming calls now ring on all phones, is there a way so that all calls go through the receptionists phone? ext 10? thanks
