How to divide by a variable

In FPGA-Express there is the following error-message:'HDL-65 The second operand must be a constant in routine "/".'
But in my program, the 2nd operand must be a variable. How can I manage this problem?

I doubt FPGA express can create a divider for you.
Can you perform your addition using a shifter (divide by power of 2) and a subtractor?
