I have a function that returns ten names. How do I pass the names to a report. I want the user to click a command button and get the names either in a report or on screen.
The only reports I've created were based either on a query or table.
Thanks for any help

A function basically returns a single value/expression. You can use your functions almost anywhere that built in function can be used.

Create a text box and set its control source to your function like:
=MyFunctionName()

Reports don't need to be bound to a table or query.
