Could someone shade some light on XY Scatter Chart? I have been given a report that has couple fields to be plotted on XY axis. Y axis values need to appear as %age. I don't find an option to set it to as %.

Thanks,

There are two places you can work with this in 8.0. First, in the chart expert->axes, if you unclick "auto range" you can choose the percent format from the "number format" drop down. Or you can select the chart->chart analyzer->right click->format chart->grid->data axis->numbers.

Thanks, is there a way to show more information about the datapoint when mouse is placed over it? like tooltip thing?
Currently I can see only three fields, which are being used to plot the chart. Is there a way to create a tool tip text for the datapoints?

I have tried as you have explained in your last post. But when I select 1%, it changes the Y-axis values to 2000 for 20, 4000 for 40, and ... 10000 for 100. I want to display values from 0,20,40,60,80, and 100, in % form.
Thanks

In the chart expert->axes tab->uncheck "auto range" and set the max to 1. This will give you percentages from 0 to 100%. Tool tips (values) appear for datapoints when the chart is selected. You probably should just experiment with different chart options--also take a look at the features in the chart analyzer.

I also have negative values. So the there is a middle line and above it values start from 0% to 100% and below it
0% to -100%. When I changed Max to 1 and Min to -1 instead of Max100 and Min -100, then data points are showing incorrect values and many data points are not appearing at all which were appearing before.
