How to display the whole hours of a day ?

Hi everybody,

I've a report which must be grouped by Hour, but I only have a "datefield" to get the data, like 01/05/2000;

For the moment I've made a formula field per Hour and a group per Formula field.

Does someone know a better way to do ?

The method that you have chosen will work, but will not be very fast. If the database is large and/or the report is complex and/or the users are impatient, this could be a problem.
To improve performance, you would have to do the grouping by hour at the database side, rather than in SCR. Depending on your database, you could use Crystal Query, stored procedures, views, or ADO. Malcolm
