Hello,

I have two csv files. One file contains all checks paid for a month. The second file has all checks that cleared the bank in the month.

I am trying to create a report that shows only the checks that are outstanding, which means that they are in the first file, but not the second.

I thought I knew how to do this, but I obviously did not.

I am using CR 9.

The two files common link is the check number.

Thank you in advance.

Use a left join FROM the file that contains all of the checks TO the file that contains some of them. Then use a record selection formula like:

isnull({secondfile.checkno})

-LB

Thank you so much. That worked perfectly.

I was doing the left join, but was forgetting to do the record selection formula.

Many many thanks.
