Hi there,
How would I display multiple columns in report.
This is what I have in the detail area.
ORDER_NO SERIAL_NO ORDER_NO SERIAL_NO
1 100
2 101
3 102
4 104
5 105

The list is go on until the end of the page.
I would like the data goes to the next column in the
same page. Untill at the end of the page and then move to next page.
The result would be
ORDER_NO SERIAL_NO ORDER_NO SERIAL_NO
1 100 50 150
2 101 51 151
3 102 52 152
4 104 . .
5 105 . .
. . . .
. . (until end of page, then
. . next page)
49 149 (end of page)
move to next column. Untill the fourth column is at the end of page now is okay to move to next page.

thanks,

Go into design view of your report. Select File, Page Setup from the Menu bar, and from the Page Setup dialogue box which appears, select the Columns tab. change the number of columns from 1 to 2.

On your report, you only need to specify the Order_No and Serial_No controls once. Providing you then keep the report width smaller than half the size of the page size, then the column will be repeated to allow two columns per page, which is what you want.
