Does anybody know how to display memo field from database in DBGrid component ? Where can I find component that have that option ? I have found some componentwith that option on address but when I try to install it I get an error: " File not found: 'RXDBCtrl.dcu' ". How can I solve this problem ?

Thanks!

Have you told Delphi where to find RXDBCtrl.dcu ?

If not then you can do this in one of two ways.

Either you can specify the location for every Delphi project on your computer or you can specify it on a project by project basis.

Use Tools | Environment Options and click on Library tab to set up the library path for RXDBCtrl.dcu for all projects

or

For a single project use Project | Options, click on the Directories/Conditionals tab and specify the folder containing RXDBCtrl.dcu in the search path.

hi,

RXDBCtrl.dcu is part of the RX-library and is a free component suite. The real RX- library isn't supported anymore. The source has been donated to the JEDI community and the components are now part of jedi. You can download the most recent components at
