Is there is a way to start up Access and have the only the form showing? I am using a batch file so that I can go staright into a form using the following:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\MSACCESS.EXE" C:\eshelldb\Patient.mdb /x "Patient"

but I only want the form to be open, and, at a minimum, have the main "Microsoft Access" and "Patient: Database" windows minimized (and to close when the form is exited) so that only the form is displayed.

Thanks in advance.

under tools-startup select the form you want displayed and uncheck display database window

Thanks to you both for the quick response!
