In Linux, you can issue "hostname -f" to display the fqdn of your host. Is there a similar command in aix?

I'm not sure of this as i don't have an aix box for now but could you try

uname -a

Khalid

I seem to remember:
hostname (shows the short hostname)
ping <hostname>
and ping displays the fqdn as the ping starts.
