How to display 2 alternate colors in the detail of a report? 2

I want the detail section to display two colors off and on within the detail section of the report. How do I do this? A formula?
 
You should always post your crystal version. The correct answer varies by version.

But generally, right click the detail section and select format section. Click the X-2 button to the right of the background color checkbox, and enter a formula:

If Remainder(Recordnumber,2)=0 then yellow else defaultattribute

If you have suppressed records this may not work as expected.

Dear dgillz:

The formula works great. Can you please tell me how to use a customized color for this formula instead of listed ones? I want to create a lighter shade of the color Silver.
Actually light gray so that the printer doesn't use so much ink.
