Hello ,

Can anyone please clear my doubt...
how to disforce/disconnect users from the old filer....? This will be through CLI (Command lines)

waiting for your replies asap...

Thanks
Priya.

sdcli disk disconnect -d M:\

or if it's a mount point, the path...

sdcli disk disconnect -d M:\mount\mountpoint1

to force the disconnect, put -f on the end.

sdcli disk disconnect -d M:\ -f

1. Which Filer model?
2. What Data Ontap version?
3. Which host OS?
4. What version of SnapDrive?
5. What is the overall goal of what you are trying to do?

You mention SnapMirror as well, what do you use that for? If you can describe what you have and what you are trying to accomplish, I'd be happy to help you as best I can.

Xmsre
