How to disable system required field with Designer

Progression SQL version 7.6.3 [I do not have flex]

Is ther a way in Designer to Disable/Hide the "Terms" field in the A/R customer maintenance screen.

I attempted to set a short list of terms that accounting does not have to approve, but if that screen is used to update an address etc. it will change the existing terms to the top one in the list.

I have hidden the lookup list.

If I allow "additional entries" all the user has to do is type it in.

How can I secure this field.
 
You can't hide the field because it's required but you can take out the search name, note/dde name, shrink the size of the field so it's barely visable, hide the text that goes along with it, take it out of the tab order and then move the sliver of a field somewhere so it's out of the way.
