Is there a way, either through the phone or through the CS1000 itself, to disable the ringer on an 1120 IP phone set? The only ways I could think of is to forward the line to voicemail or to program a "Make Busy" line. I checked the ringer settings and there doesn't seem to be an option for "no ringer".

Taking the handset offhook would quiet things down. Programming KEY CFW, or KEY MSB are perfect options too.

thanks for the quick responses. the problem is that the user already has 4 lines on his 1120 and the shift button isnt activated.

Shift" for more keys only works on the 2004/2007/1140E and only on CS 1000 systems.
